R-04 has two new releases this summer!
One is my remix of ‘Leave a Trace’ composed by Satoshi Imano. I’ve been friends with him for 20 years or so since we were label mates previously. The lyrics of female vocal going back and forth between English and Japanese is very poetic, interesting, and implying how we human beings are struggling to leave traces of our lives in the world.
The other release is a tune called Gradation from my solo project, released from Ibiza Boys run by Van Czar himself. This tune was inspired by gradation of the sky just before sunset of a new year eve, thinking back of the whole year with some sentimental feeling.
